In the month of January, various anniversaries concerning the life of Nomadelfia. Don Zeno's first Mass on the 6th January 2015, his death on the 15th and the anniversary of the second-first Mass and the approval of the Mass on the 22nd of Nomadelfia by the Bishop of Carpi.

"My dear Jesus,
I am on the path of my dream, to die on your heart.
Old age tries to drown me; but I don't want anything but to live to my last breath.
Yes, I want to be still very young and I want to love you in song of life. I want to live you.
For if you, my Jesus, live with me this waltz which is so beautiful... The land becomes more beautiful".

It was January 15, 1981. Surrounded by his sons Don Zeno Saltini he leaves for eternal life. He was not afraid, he suffered a lot, but he was happy. A few days earlier he had said: "If the Lord he calls me now I thank him, if he calls me tomorrow it is the same thing, if I have to shoot it's always the same thing" . He had a rock-solid faith, a daring humility, an immeasurable trust in that Dear Jesus of hers with whom she had danced all her life. He had asked for a feast for when he would die and his sons took him at his word and danced really around his coffin.

I never had the pleasure of looking him in the eye, but I listened many times his voice. Who has it known says that he was really a father. It had officially become so on 6 January 1931, on the day he celebrated his first Mass. Barrel was as soon as he was released from prison and Don Zeno wanted to welcome him as a son into his home his. He was the first of many. In his heart, however, he always had a clear goal: Change civilization starting with himself. He had decided it at the age of 20, after a violent Argument with his best friend, and his whole life was the answer to that confrontation.

Nomadelfia was born there, above that altar, and from that fountain flowed like a river in flood a new, fresh, genuine story. There were impervious climbs, like when in 1952 the Church ordered him to distance himself from his children, but his has always been obedience, ready to roll up his sleeves in the certainty that God would never abandon him. And yet since February 5 of that year, for 9 years he did not celebrate Mass. It was not a punishment, it was he who had asked the pope in order to remain close to his people.

It was only on January 22, 1962 that he was able to raise the chalice again in his second-first Mass , that's what the newspapers called her. The date was chosen by Don Zeno to commemorate January 22, 1933, when the Bishop of Carpi, Monsignor Giovanni Pranzini, had paved the way for the beginning of his work. On that occasion it was as if God himself had recognized the foundation of this small attempt at fraternal society. For this reason, even today in Nomadelfia this day is remembered, the anniversary of the birth but also of the rebirth of the city of fraternity.
