Fraternal Work
Nomadelfia wants to live the Work as an act of love , free and disinterested; he wants to show that it is possible to live a life that is based on gratuitousness.
For this reason, the Nomadelfis work within the community without asking for compensation in return. In no family are you paid to cook, repair a sink or take care of children: because it is free work, done out of love.
In doing so, one lives an integral fraternity, in which differences are eliminated.
At Nomadelfia, we are all available to do whatever work is necessary: Every job is useful for life and for this reason it has its own dignity à.
Heavy or repetitive work is carried out in turns, or together by the entire population. We call them "mass jobs".
Not getting paid does not mean rejecting the use of money or, which is an indispensable means of exchange in the modern world, to relate to the outside world and to the State, to use services and pay taxes.
Work in a cooperative form
According to the Constitution Nomadelfia is committed to supporting activities and initiatives "for material relief and spiritual elevation of humanity".
Throughout the life of Nomadelfia is set to principle of gratuitousness , on being for others.
In order to be able to manage part of the work activities and ensure that our work is recognized by the State, two cooperatives have been established: Agricultural Cooperative And the Cultural Cooperative .
The Cultural Cooperative Nomadelfia he is responsible for publications and archive management.
The Agricultural Cooperative and Work Nomadelfia it deals with agricultural activities and the sale of products. The cooperative hires on a fixed-term and part-time basis the people necessary to carry out agricultural activities and related maintenance and repair activities. The cooperative pays INPS contributions and salaries to employees. These in turn benefit from the social security benefits provided for employees in agriculture.
The Voluntary and Free Commitment
An important part of Nomadelfia's activities is aimed at education of the children, and in particular within the family school. Among the care activities there is also the accompaniment of the elderly and people housed in communities in need of assistance.
In Nomadelfia there are also various laboratories and offices , which are dedicated to meeting a part of the needs of a small population of about 300 people.
In the clothing and footwear warehouses there are garments purchased in bulk or donated by individuals or companies. The others laboratories take care of the Construction and maintenance of buildings , machines and household appliances.
In Offices we find the people who take care of the administrative, tax and social security aspects of all . There is also a historical archive and a photographic archive; an office that follows the legal aspects related to child foster care; an office that manages the reception of guests.
In addition to the the domestic activities, The work of maintenance and cleanliness, i Nomadelfi are committed:

- In help to all those people who find themselves living in situations of temporary or permanent poverty.
